Just a place for you folks to post questions for the video interview.

Might sound obvious but...

What inspired you to make the film?
What has been the best part of making the film so far?

Is this video for Anthrocon? Or something else I am unaware of? ^^'

I got a few for ya. :) But I'll not toss em all out since some of them are pretty straight forward.

Question 1. In terms of animation quality, are you finding certain scenes very difficult to get right?

Question 2. Humor can be a very powerful tool if used correctly, do you plan on having a fair share of laughs in the film? Or are you going for a more grim and harsh reality?

I'll hold my other questions till a few others ask or if they take too long to respond. :)

Wow - I really like Fasten's second question. My brother said the same thing... he wanted to know if it was going to be rounded, and have "all of that film stuff," like humor, suspense, etc... or if it was meant to lack in the humorous areas, and be more straightforward ^^

It is a good question... so I'll make sure it's on the list for the interviews this weekend :)

Yay! :cheese: I'll be sure to watch the interview when it goes live on the web. :)

Remeber that humor is a tricky animal. Not everyone finds a joke funny. The main thing is that it is a means of bringing you closer to the characters. It shows that they are just as spontaneous and loveable as you and I. That, along with a well paced plot and solid acting, will create a very effective involving story. One that will leave a lasting inpression for years to come on the kids. I think the big error most film writers make when implementing humor is that they either go overboard, use hip or pop culture jokes, or use overused obnoxious fart and arse jokes. I think the most laughs comes from just having fun with the characters and see where things end up. The unexpected is often a greater source of amusement especially when you don't see it coming.

Now for another few questions! :)

1. Character roles are one of the most important aspects of story telling. In terms of how interesting a character is, who do you find the most and least interesting and why?

2. Will every character share the spotlight? Or will it be focused on one individual's perspective?

3. I know there is a strive to portray the wolves as realistically as possible. However the trailers and clips we've seen thus far shows the wolves behaving and expressing themselves with human like qualities. How humanized do you plan on going? Will they be capable of displaying all kinds of human behavior? Or will there be limits to what they can do?

Thats all for now. :)

OK the interview should be coming really soon, but fasten, I ended up throwing out my video answer to one of yours because I realized I was babbling XD and I wanted to make sure you had an answer to it. That's your first one -- about difficulty getting the animation quality right. The answer to that one is not really, at the moment. Pretend scene 2 doesn't exist for a minute (remember that it's purpose was to figure things out and that it's likely to be revisited). I expect more difficulty later on, especially as we get into some effects work and people work. It's so hard to find people who want to animate people.

Only problem I'm seeing now is an overall lack of activity on the site. I expected this to get at least a good 2 pages worth of questions. But so far not as much. Its cool to hear my question(s) is/are being used. :) I'd just like it if there were more involved.

Yeah, so would I.

On the other hand, I'm spending a lot more time animating and a lot less time worrying about the latest forum drama this way :p

Well interweb drama can be a good thing. :wink2: Reading it is a great way to entertain yourself while browsing the latest going ons. Then you get to watch as the banhammer gets swung around! :starlaugh: *Runs off to get some cookies and a soda*

LOL, yeah, it can be -- but only if you're the one who doesn't have to swing the banhammer ;) I enjoy everyone ELSE's drama XD
