Wolf takes place in the late 1920's in a semi-fictional area of the Grand Teton Mountains in Wyoming. At this time period wolves were being hunted nearly into extinction in all of the lower 48 United States. Our story takes place when wolf packs were becoming very scarce.

Wolf is an anthopomorphic animal story, meaning that the wolf characters talk and show humanized expressions, although they remain as true to their animal forms as possible (as in Universal pictures Balto, and Disney's The Lion King).

The film will be a 2-d traditionally animated film, using computers to color and composite the film, but keeping the character and effects animation hand drawn. Inspiration for the style of the film comes from classic animated films such as Watership Down, The Secret of NIMH and Bambi.
