The story of Wolf takes place in the late 1920's in a semi-fictional area of the Grand Teton Mountains of Wyoming. At this time period, wolves were being hunted nearly into extinction in all of the lower 48 United States. This is sometimes called "The Great War on wolves". Our story takes place at the end of that 'war', when wolf packs were becoming very scarce.

Wolf is an anthopomorphic animal story, meaning that the wolf characters 'talk' and show humanized expressions, although they remain as true to their animal forms as possible. (As in Universal pictures "Balto", and Disney's "The Lion King")

The film will be a 2-d traditional animated film, using computers to color and composite the film, but keeping the character and effects animation hand drawn. The inspiration for the style of the film comes from classic animated films such as "Watership Down", "The Secret of NIMH" and "Bambi".
