Voice Acting Cattle Call

All voices are now recorded. Should a new voice become available it will be listed here (this is very unlikely). Please do not contact us about voice work otherwise.

Due to one thing or another, we've found ourselves with a small number of lines that have not yet been recorded. All are for secondary and tertiary characters.

If you've been dreaming of being a voice actor, here's your chance. Simply choose a character below and follow the instructions.

Positions will be open until filled. We'll remove characters as they are completed.

How to Apply

  • Read ALL the instructions before sending your audtion.

  • Review the lines below and choose one or more character that you wish to record for.
  • Record your lines -- we'll be using the files you send us, so pay close attention to recording quality. Background noise, poor dynamic range, and cut-off peaks are all things that will get your submission rejected. Take your time to perfect your submission. Tips:
    • Find a quiet room and make sure that all electronics, heaters, air conditioning units, etc. are off. Tomothy Albee of Kaze fame recommends using your car as a recording studio -- most cars are fairly soundproofed and can be taken someplace quiet easily.
    • Sit back from the microphone to limit pops.
    • Avoid moving while you record -- the professionals do it, but they also have access to professional equipment, which makes a big difference.
    • Try each line multiple times, with different inflection.
    • Separate all your variations with a couple seconds of silence.
    • Feel free to ad-lib a little, but you should be sure to include at least one verbatim variation for each line.
  • Choose three or four of your best takes for each line and collect them to send to us. We accept MP3 or WAV. Don't compress your recordings -- remember, the better the quality, the more likely you are to get the part.
  • Download the material release contract. Review it, make sure that you accept the terms (which are, essentially, that we have the right to use what you're sending us as we see fit), and sign it. Note: if you own a graphics tablet, feel free to sign the contract in Photoshop or a similar program; otherwise print, sign, and scan it. Typed "signatures" won't be accepted.
  • Get your contract witnessed -- if you're over 18, your witness may be anyone else over the age of 18. If you're younger than 18, your witness MUST be a parent or guardian. No exceptions can be made.
  • Gather together your contract and your lines and email them to wolfmovieapps@gmail.com. Indicate in your subject line which characters you're applying for.
  • We may not be able to respond to everyone's audition. Please be patient with us. If you are selected, you will be notified by email..

Thank you and good luck!
